New World: Aeternum is a MMORPG developed by Amazon Games. In New World, players can explore a thrilling open world filled with danger and opportunity where they forge a new destiny on the supernatural island of Aeternum.
New World: Aeternum launched on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 15, 2024.
As an UX designer, I:
• Work collaboratively with other Designers and partner with design teams across the studio to craft amazing experiences for New World players
• Partner with UX and game design teams to craft menus, HUD elements, in-world graphic design elements, logos and icons, animations, and motion graphics
• Develop creative visual solutions to complex game systems and ensure balance between form and function
• Pitch and present designs to product owners, other designers, and stakeholders
• Tune implemented UI using Lua and the Lumberyard UI Editor

• Implemented, iterated, and tested UI screens and templates in game using Sony's events-based UI toolset
• Presented data contracts and implementation breakdowns in cross-team meetings
• Ensured the technical consistency and integrity of UI assets
• Balanced between optimal aesthetics and technical constraints of the engine
• Provided ideas and feedback in the development of the UI toolset
MLB The Show 21 was the 16th title in The Show series. It was the first MLB The Show to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
As an user interface artist, I:
• Designed and created highly polished screen mocks using Figma for other UI artists to implement
• Upheld MLB’s brand and visual identity while using art to communicate information in the AAA sports game
• Helped select colors and typefaces for in-game UI and Live team assets that directly improved the overall game aesthetics and readability
• Designed, iterated, and produced hundreds of icons in game in line with the new aesthetics
• Assisted with Live team asset creation (especially card designs) with daily deadlines
